Our Football Academy
Training Overview
- 4 x 2 hour training sessions every week delivered by our UEFA qualified coaches
- Set scheme of work that focuses on the Technical, Tactical, Physical & Psychological aspects of the game
- Session structure will vary but will involve either; Technical Practices, Opposed Practices, Phases of Play, SSG’s/11v11’s
- Position Specific Sessions will be delivered to accelerate development and address specific weakness
- Games and training will be recorded with our veo camera, so we can cut down and analyse performances. We can then show our Academy players what they need to improve on, and make training specific when needed.
- Individual Strength & Conditioning programme designed and monitored by a trained Professional
- Access to a full time Physiotherapist
- Access to Milton Park Gym
Match day
Playing Opportunities
Procision Oxford Football Academy squad play regular competitive matches. Currently we have 6 teams who all play competitive fixtures each week. Each team follows a similar structure to maximise player development.
Opportunities include:
- Southern League / Hellenic League men’s football
- Thames Valley Womens League (Senior)
- FA Youth Cup
- National Youth League (U23's)
- National Conference Youth Alliance League and Cup
- Tactic Midweek League and Cup
- Allied Counties Youth League
- AOC South West U21 League (Girls)
- ESFA Super League (Girls)
- ML League
- Friendlies against Academies (notably a recent match v Sunderland FC u19's - see video of two of our goals in a 4-1 victory).
