We are so excited to announce that with our partnership with Newbury College, we have started our very own girls academy for talented female footballers as well as girls that have a passion to develop a career in football and sport other than playing.
Our very own student Molly Price met with Newbury College principal Iain Wolloff and vice principal Lee Hunt in May 2021 as we set out our plans to develop the girls section. Molly as ever showed her passion and desire and opinions which allowed all of us to create this pathway. Molly has been an inspiration in her two years she was a student with us and in that time has gained so many different skills and qualities to enhance her career. For example while be a student she was being mentored by Amy Taylor (who also plays for Procision Oxford Ladies team in the Thames Valley League) within a physiotherapy aspect and was supporting Amy in our fixtures at Cheltenham in the FA Youth Cup. Molly has also been working as a coach in primary schools and has just been offered a part time job at our home base of Tilsley Park.
Molly's biggest feedback to the Principal was that to get more girls on the course and to develop this section we really need to offer A Levels as well as NCFE L3. We therefore went away and developed this and we are delighted to be able to offer this from 2022 on wards.
Newbury College allows us to offer not only the NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity and Sports Coaching but from August 2022 we now have the capability to offer A Levels in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Maths and English with other subjects being looked at.
Our women’s team will equally benefit from the long list of fixtures in the AOC South West league and the ESFA league and opportunities against other high caliber teams that we would be able to provide. Along with UEFA A and B license coaches and talent team members have a plethora of experience and knowledge, creating an elite performance pathway that will develop each individual, male and female, to the next level.
Whether you aspire to be a player, coach, physio or any area within the game we will cater for your future.

Following our girls 2023 tour in Holland our captain Hermione has taken the time to put a few words together about her first year with us at Procision Oxford:
"After a year of hard work, dedication and achievements we have unfortunately come to the end of our first year, and what a year it has been!
The girls came into the year in August all brand new, first group of girls at Procision and we were ready to tackle whatever was coming our way. Education started and we was flying with all our units and completing more than usual in the first year!
Football on the other hand, we started in a league which was without being disrespectful, too easy for us as we was winning games 6/7/8-0 every week. Due to this we asked to get moved into a tough league and faced some tough opposition especially for a newly formed side like ourselves. Throughout the season we kept developing and improving and narrowly missed out on the title due to not being able to fit in our last league game in time! We then got entered into another league smashed it and ended up winning it!
Tour was the icing on the cake of a brilliant year. I have made memories for life with my teammates and staff which I can’t thank enough for being on the journey with me!
Now we’re looking forward to enjoying summers off ready for the second year to come back and work harder than before to get our hands on some trophies!"
Our head of education, physio and all round hero Amy had this to say on our first year of having a girls cohort:
"Me and Craig have wanted to have a successful girls cohort for about 10 years now and I'm not only thrilled it's happened, it's been a huge success!
First and foremost it has been a privilege to work with the girls this year. As people they are everything we want the college to be, determined, funny, kind and engaging. It has been a pleasure watching them come out of their shells and form a tightly knit bond which has helped them gain success in the classroom and on the pitch.
The have been outstanding in the classroom, flying with education and way ahead of where they should be at this stage of there two years with us. This has mirrored the performances on the pitch where they have consistently developed and played some unreal football throughout the year.
The year was capped off brilliantly by a amazing tour in Holland where we all created more brilliant memories.
I can't wait for our girls cohort to continue to grow and develop for years to come!"
Following on from our first cohort of girls in 22/23 we now have double the number of female students. This is largely down to the incredible now second years we have at the college. Both our first and second years are smashing it in the classroom and on the pitch.
Not only are they currently flawless in Tactic League winning every game they have played they are also in the semi-final of the league cup! They have been brilliant playing some great football along the way.
Off the pitch they are a delight to have at the college. In the classroom their work is to a very high standard and in general they apply themselves incredibly.
We are extremely keen for the female programme to continue to grow and mirror the progression we've had within the boys programme. Therefore everything is in place to ensure their development on the pitch and in the classroom is at the highest possible standard while ensuring its an enjoyable environment.
