Footballing Success Stories

 Jordan has been a part of Procision Oxford for 8 seasons. Following the 22/23 season where he finished as North Leigh’s top goal scorer at Step 3 he went on to sign a contract at National League South side, Bath City (Step 2). While still being employed as a teacher and a coach he has since then he has gone on to sign his first professional contract with Cheltenham Town. He has completed a Level 3 (equivalent to 3 A Levels) in Sport and Physical Activity before going on to achieve a HNC and HND. He has now finished his final year of his degree (BSc) whilst also studying to become a qualified tutor. Jordan is now a degree graduate and a professional footballer! 

 Twariq, along with Jordan, were part of our first ever season as a programme and helped kick start our now successful course. He was a massive part in our back to back title winning squads and has gone on to make a great start to his career at Step 2 side Brackley Town. Scoring a hat-trick in pre-season led to him signing his first contract with the club. He has since made a TV appearance in the FA Cup along with many other appearances for the first team. He is also our first international after making his first team debut for Tanzania this past year. We are extremely proud of how he has developed and we are continuing to follow his career with great interest. 

 Taylor has been a part of Procision Oxford for 6 seasons. He captained our Didcot Town Youth Team in the FA Youth Cup in the defeat at Fratton Park. He is also captain of Didcot Town’s first team, who won promotion to Step 3. Taylor has also captained our title winning North Leigh U19’s National Youth Alliance as well as the u23s who have won the national league on back to back occasions. He has now completed his full degree and has just finished his first season being the lead for our girls academy. During this time Taylor has also had experience coaching Abingdon United's Allied Counties side along with an adult female side. He continues to broaden his coaching knowledge in so many different environments. He is also working towards furthering his teaching qualifications as he is now also a lead tutor at the college.  

Sam throughout his time with us developed rapidly. On the pitch he went from strength to strength and got better and better resulting his being a key part in our 21/22 FA Youth Cup run which saw us make the first round proper. Off the pitch Sam was brilliant in the classroom. Academically and as a person he grew in confidence resulting him in being a huge character at the college. We was gutted to lose Sam but also incredibly proud to watch him take the step to go to Bournemouth University to study his degree. He is currently in his third year and is loving Uni life. 

Baba was a special special character at the college. Someone who not matter what he was doing or the situation he was going to give it his all. In the classroom he left with top grades which is a reflection of his hard work. On the pitch another who just kept getting better. His hard work and determination was infectious. He is currently studying Buisness at the University of the West of England Bristol and is flying in his first year.

Christian was a key member of staff when we started and is a key reason for our success since. Christian alongside being our head coach was also on our degree programme. He was apart of our first batch of graduates from our degree programme which has allowed us to develop and improve it to the position it is today. Since moving on from us Christian became manager of Milton United. A team hes built with several Procision Oxford graduates and current students. During his first season he achieved promotion to Step 5.
